The Rosemont Inn Bed and Breakfast is a fully restored, three story Italianate Victorian brick home, originally built in 1860. It is located in the heart of Utica, NY on the main thoroughfare of Genesee Street. The building was converted to a bed and breakfast prior to the current owners’ purchase in 2004, and since then has been completely renovated to suit the needs of modern travelers.
Now improved to 8 rental rooms, each with fully appointed ensuite baths and contemporary décor, the Inn also boasts several common areas and a bright, cheery breakfast room – all with beautiful connections to the building and neighborhood’s historic past. All rooms come fully equipped with king or queen beds, excellent wifi connections, and the host of other amenities that today’s visitors have come to expect from high-end accommodations.
Since completing front-of-house renovations in 2023, there has been a focus on increasing the performance of the business, which has resulted in significant improvements in occupancy and profitability. From all appearances, there is still ample room for growth as the area experiences a renaissance as a destination for both new residents and tourists.
