The independent lodging industry continues to be a business and lifestyle that many seek. Whether in the form of historic B&Bs, cabins, yurts, treehouses, modern purpose-built inns, or industrial-chic boutique hotels, all are part of the hospitality business. Each property is unique in its characteristics, amenities, location, décor, and ambiance, and all of those things factor into the guest experience – which is ultimately what their customers are buying.
Marilyn was the Innkeeper/Owner of a beautiful 18-room Select Registry property beginning in 1997. She successfully sold her inn and began working exclusively in the independent lodging industry serving both buyers and sellers. Since 2005, she has assisted in many transfers of inns to new owners.
Chuck and his wife Charlotte were the Innkeeper/Owners of Lucille’s Mountaintop Inn and Spa, a 13-room purpose-built Inn and Spa (also Select Registry) from 2015 to 2020. Shortly after selling their inn with Marilyn’s help, they started working with her organization as consultants, and have become full partners with her in working with both buyers and sellers to transition the stewardship of a number of lodging businesses.
Patrick, along with his siblings Stephen and Christine have owned and operated the 9 room Keystone Inn Bed and Breakfast in Gettysburg, PA since 2020, which is currently for sale. He recently joined our team with a focus on helping buyers identify and then acquire the inn of their dreams.
