Catherine Ward House Inn was built in 1886 as a residence and became a bed and breakfast in the early 2000s. The High Victorian Italianate inn was renovated again in 2017 with new furnishings, bathrooms and luxury finishes. The result is a contemporary, airy style complemented by high ceilings and original architectural grandeur. The inn’s main floor sits high above street level. Arriving guests ascend a flight of stairs from the sidewalk to the iconic front porch. The main level features a living and dining room, a half bath, the inn kitchen, and the manager’s bedroom and bath. There are 3 guest rooms on the lower level, each opening to the inn’s private courtyard. 3 more guest rooms are on the upper level and there are 3 contemporary guest rooms in the (separate) Carriage House.
